In Fiji, driving is on the left. The speed is limited to 80 km/h outside villages and 50 km/h inside them. Many villages have donkey backs forcing drivers to slow down. The wearing of the seat belt is compulsory at the front. In order to drive in Fiji, an international driver license is mandatory or an English driver’s license.

There are three kinds of signs in the Highway Code.
